Hello Everybody,              "Unbelievable jobs numbers ... these Chicago guys will do anything       .... can't debate so change numbers." - Jack Welch, 10/5/2012, tweet              Mitt Romney cleaned Barack Obama's clock in the presidential debate       the other night. So what did the president do? According to Welch,       he got his boys from Chicago to cook the books compiled by the Bureau       of Labor Statistics (BLS), thus making it appear the economy is       improving.              Think about it. The jobs report comes out one day after Obama's       failed debate attempt, and one month before the presidential election.       And with the next jobs report due to come out on November 2, meaning       too late to make a difference in the election, it is that 7.8% number       that is going to stick in voters heads, thus giving Obama the win       in the presidential election.              What a turnaround for the ecomomy. In sixty days the unemployment       rate has gone from 8.3% to 8.1% and now to 7.8%. That is a jobs       improvement of 6% in just two months' time! Really! And to think       at this rate what it will be on election day! Certainly better       than Ronald Reagan's miserable 7.2% when he squeaked by Walter       Mondale...              Anyway, with the numbers of unemployed dropping like a rock, President       Obama is sure to win re-election. Just think, by this time next year       there will be 0% unemployment in this country, thanks to the boys from       Chicago. I mean, thanks to President Obama (the boys work for him).              And that is no BLS.              --Lee              --- MesNews/1.06.00.00-gb        * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2)    |
