    Yes it was the reason. It wasn't the oil they wanted, this   
    country has enough, it was *CONTROL* of the oil. Big oil wanted   
    high oil prices. The Project For a New American Century wanted   
    to break Saudi control of oil. The one thing I agreed with them   
    on.   
      
    Either choice required control of the oil, not ownership itself.
