    The votes that didn't count were the tens of thousands of   
    legitimate voters who were taken off the voting rolls by   
    Katherin Harris, who ran the elections in Florida, and Choice   
    Point, a company Harris contracted to do just that.   
      
    If those tens of thousands of legitimate voters, mostly   
    democratic voters, had been allowed to vote there would not have   
    been a close enough election to take it to court, Gore would   
    have won cleanly.   
      
    If Ralph Nader had not siphoned off even a few thousand votes   
    there would have been no room for it to go to the SC, Gore would   
    have won cleanly.

    Thanks to the 2000 5-4 vote that let the right wing chose our   
    supreme court. Thanks to Jeb Bush stealing Florida, and Ralph   
    Nader opening up the possibility.   
      
    We are not out of that disaster yet, nor will we be for a long
