   -> really ended after only two or three weeks of combat, but forced to   
   -> remain for years longer due the misguided policies of the previous   
   -> administration.   
      
   Obama "promised" to bring our boys back from Iraq when he campaigned in   
   2008.  Of course, as is his custom, he lied!   
       
   -> Neither the war on Iraq nor the war on Afghanistan were paid for,   
   -> the funds having been borrowed from the social security trust fund   
   -> by the previous administration.  Those costs are now catching up   
   -> with us, as those bills are coming due.   
      
   They cannot "borrow" from the so-called Social Security Trust Fund since it   
   contains only promises, no cash, only IOUs (called Treasury Bonds) which   
   will be paid by future generations.
