-> FS>We can always count on you, Lee, to bolster our spirits!!       -> FS>... [bolstered ... but very little] ... [considering suicide] ...       -> FS>[rejecting suicide] ... FS>[rejecting Lee's story] ... [feeling       -> FS>MUCH better!] ..       ->        -> You do realize this is National Suicide Prevention Week.       -> That's right. September 9-15. The other day I saw a lady,       -> age 26, stop her car on the Mississippi River Bridge, get       -> out, and start climbing a ladder on the side of the bridge.       -> This was in the middle of the day, when it is hottest.       -> Instead of hurrying and getting it over with, the young       -> lady just stood there, taking her time posing in front       -> of everybody, making sure that all would be able to see       -> her swan dive. And then, some dudes came out of a firetruck       -> and started a conversation with her. They just kept talking       -> and talking, not doing much anything else. And then the lady       -> stretched out her arms and stood on her tippy toes and those       -> guys shut themselves up right quick. In fact, they started       -> backing up. As if something bad was about to happen. But       -> there was one brave soul who dared to step forward. "Come       -> to me, young man! Come to me!" the woman shouted, cupping       -> her hand outward, inviting him to join her. The young man       -> thus started his own climb on the ladder, and soon reached       -> his ladylove, grabbing her in his outstretched arms. The       -> two lovebirds then made their way to an ambulance waiting       -> for them on the bridge, and the show finally came to an       -> end after four long hours, those stuck on the bridge       -> finally being able to make their way across.              Is that a true story, Lee. Lemme consider your past record.               CONCLUSION: You think it's true ... *I* don't'!       --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5        * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 And Still Here.
