Hello John,              >BK>I have said, the Republican Party no longer exists. It is now       >BK>the Republican Tea Party. Next election, or the one after, it       >BK>will be just the Tea Party.              >BK>Contact every legislator or former legislator you know who was       >BK>beaten in the primary by a Tea Party candidate. Implore him to       >BK>campaign against the Tea Party candidate.              >BK>I know this will hurt, but it's the only way to keep the       >BK>Republican Party to suffer the fate I named above, becoming the       >BK>Tea Party.              JM>Why are you so scared of the Tea Party? Seems like the       JM>Democrat Party would want to fight a loosely organized       JM>bunch of wackos.              I absolutely adore Tea Baggers. Just stick a microphone       in their face and let them rant. The late Tim Russert was       great in that regard. Years ago he had interviewed Rush       Limbaugh. This was just after the charade Limbaugh had been       putting on about having lost his hearing and having had a       cochlear ear implant. The interview started out as any other       interview, but after about five minutes it became obvious       that Rush had wanted to say more than what he was asked       about. After about ten minutes into the interview, Russert       just allowed Rush to keep on ranting. And ranting. And       ranting. For the rest of the entire show. All the while       trying to maintain a straight face.              There are three presidential debates scheduled, and one vice       presidential debate. The Democrats would be doing themselves       a favor by allowing their Republican opponents to hog the       microphone. If Barack Obama is smart, he will say as little       as possible, giving as much time to Mitt Romney to make a       fool of himself. If Joe Biden is smart, he will say as little       as possible, giving as much time to Paul Ryan to make a fool       of himself. However, we both know full well that won't happen.              >BK>It's the only way for Republicans to keep the       >BK>freedom to think for themselves.              JM>I believe you have said or implied that Republicans do not       JM>think for them-self so why do even care about that?              Thank God Barack Obama is not facing a candidate who can       think for himself. Otherwise, he'd be a one-term president.              --Lee                      * SLMR 2.1a * Im he as ur he as ur me n w'r ll 2gtha              --- Maximus 3.01        * Origin: Xaragmata / Adelaide SA telnet://xaragmata.mooo.com (3:800/432)    |
