   You do realize this is National Suicide Prevention Week.   
   That's right.  September 9-15.  The other day I saw a lady,   
   age 26, stop her car on the Mississippi River Bridge, get   
   out, and start climbing a ladder on the side of the bridge.   
   This was in the middle of the day, when it is hottest.   
   Instead of hurrying and getting it over with, the young   
   lady just stood there, taking her time posing in front   
   of everybody, making sure that all would be able to see   
   her swan dive.  And then, some dudes came out of a firetruck   
   and started a conversation with her.  They just kept talking   
   and talking, not doing much anything else.  And then the lady   
   stretched out her arms and stood on her tippy toes and those   
   guys shut themselves up right quick.  In fact, they started   
   backing up.  As if something bad was about to happen.  But   
   there was one brave soul who dared to step forward.  "Come   
   to me, young man!  Come to me!" the woman shouted, cupping   
   her hand outward, inviting him to join her.  The young man   
   thus started his own climb on the ladder, and soon reached   
   his ladylove, grabbing her in his outstretched arms.  The   
   two lovebirds then made their way to an ambulance waiting   
   for them on the bridge, and the show finally came to an   
   end after four long hours, those stuck on the bridge   
   finally being able to make their way across.
