Hello John,              >BK>There is no objection to Obamacare,              >JM>You are kidding right?       >JM>There is no objection to Obamacare?              >BK>IF you don't select out of context the statement is correct.              >JM>The statement "There is no objection to Obamacare." stands on       >JM>it's own.              >LL>President Barack Obama himself has used the term "Obamacare".       >LL>But have you (or anybody else) seen or heard Mitt Romney ever       >LL>use the term "Romneycare"?              JM>No, So what/              By not mentioning "Romneycare", Mitt Romney is proving to everybody       that he is ashamed of himself.              >JM>The statement is demonstrably false, and to repeat it, a person       >JM>would have to claim to be so uninformed as to not know, or is lying.              >LL>It has become quite apparent that President Barack Obama has no       >LL>objection to "Obamacare". But it seems to me that Mitt Romney has       >LL>some very deep reservations about "Romneycare". Why is that?              JM>You'll have to ask him, I sure don't know.              Why is Mitt Romney also so unwilling to discuss his tax records?       What is he trying to hide? If he did something illegal, I can       understand why he would not want to discuss it. But if he did nothing       wrong, as he claims, then why does he continue to avoid the issue?              >JM>So it's either a stupid statement or a deliberate lie, take your       >JM>choice.              >LL>I love OBarneyCare he loves me...              JM>What has selling your property got to do with Health Care?              It used to be that nursing homes could bilk their "inmates"       of all their money and properties until the day they died -       until states started putting an end to that scam by limiting       the number of months an "inmate" could be billed at full       cost.              For example, back in the bad old days nursing homes could       charge $3000/month per month per inmate for as long as the       inmate remained incarcerated at their facility. When an       inmate ran out of money, he/she had to sell off his/her       property (house) in order to be able to pay the bill.       This practice bankrupted many fine folks, and made it       possible for rich folks to grab nice properties for dirt       cheap.              State governments put an end to that practice, by limiting       the number of months that nursing homes could bilk their inmates,       thus forcing nursing homes to either lower their rates or accept       medicare/medicaid dollars. Most nursing home facilities chose       to accept medicare/medicaid dollars, given the alternative.              JM>Tell me what a 3.8% sales tax on the sale of a house, is       JM>doing in the Health Care Law.              Nobody should be forced to sell their house due to sickness       or old age. And no movie goer who was shot by a madman should       be forced to pay hospital bills they should never have been       billed for in the first place (let the NRA pay the bills).              --Lee                      * SLMR 2.1a * BE A SAINT +               --- Maximus 3.01        * Origin: Xaragmata / Adelaide SA telnet://xaragmata.mooo.com (3:800/432)    |
