   I always get a kick out of watching churchgoers drop contributions   
   into a basket.  The poorest folks contribute the most relative to their   
   income while the richest folks contribute the least...

   Many of the victims of that movie theater shooting who had no insurance   
   or were underinsured were billed, even though there is no way some of   
   those victims would be able to pay those bills even over the course of   
   their entire lives.  Are they "assholes" because they were too stupid   
   to work at a minimum wage job rather than be a bum on medicaid?  The   
   working poor always seem to get the worst deals of all in this country.   
   Why is that?  We'll pay for a senior citizen who gets shot in a movie   
   theater, but refuse to pay for the working poor (most of whom are   
   between the ages of 18 and 34).

   What did any of those movie goers do to deserve getting shot or killed?   
   What did any of those who survived to to deserve being billed exorbitant   
   hospital bills they can never afford to pay over the cost of a lifetime?   
   Why do we continue to have such a sick and disgusting health care system   
   in this country?
