   >>> Continued from previous message

   >LL>Taxpayers can pick up the tab for those who cannot afford to pay.

JM>No they can't, It will bankrupt the Country.

We do it now, as we have for years, with Medicaid.

   >LL>Doctors and nurses and other health professionals, along with
   >LL>insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies, do not have
   >LL>to be so goddamn greedy at the expense of other's misfortune.

JM>And you are the one to tell them, ALL OF THEM just how much money
   JM>they are allowed to make?

We do that now, as we have for years, with both Medicaid and Medicare.

JM>How un-american is that idea, where I have always been told the sky
JM>is the limit if you work hard and smart enough

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOT.

Harry S Truman was a GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOT.

John F. Kennedy was a GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOT.

Lyndon B. Johnson was a GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOT.

Jimmy Carter was, and is, a GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOT.

Bill Clinton was, and is, a GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOT.

Barack Hussein Obama is a GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOT who
finally got the job done, in his first term, as PRESIDENT
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

It is these GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOTS who gave us Social Security,
Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act. Did you notice
that all of these GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOTS were, or are, DEMOCRATS?

FWIW, I do hold some REPUBLICANS in high esteem. REPUBLICANS
such as TEDDY ROOSEVELT, who was even more progressive than today's
modern DEMOCRATS. Unfortunately, his BULL MOOSE PARTY is no longer
   in existence...

   >LL>It is a racket, blessed by our nation's politicians.

   >LL>For example -

   >LL>Article 25 of the U.N. Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948)
   >LL>reads quite clearly and emphatically:

   >LL>>> Everyone has the right to A STANDARD OF LIVING ADEQUATE FOR THE
   >LL> HEALTH
   >LL>>> AND WELL-BEING OF HIMSELF AND OF HIS FAMILY, including food,
   >LL> clothing,
   >LL>>> housing and MEDICAL CARE and necessary social services, and the
   >LL> right
   >LL>>> to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability,
   >JM>> widowhood,
   >LL>>> old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his
   >LL>>> control.

   >LL>Do you know what that means? THE WORLD OWES ME A LIVING!

   >JM>No it means theose people that came up with a wonderful utopian idea
   >JM>that will never work. You may think the world owes you a living but
   >JM>the people on it do not.

   >LL>The right to life is an unalienable right,

JM>The right to life is a right. The medical expertise and
JM>everything else used in modern day medical practice used
JM>to extend or save that life is a commodity.

   Answered in previous message.

   >LL>There are also other unalienable rights, none of which are commodities.
   >LL>If a man is starving, and you had food available, would you let him
   >LL>starve?

JM>Most likely not but if it is my food that I worked for or grew, just
JM>because someone else is hungry does not give a right to my stuff.

Actually, it does. In times of emergency, you can be forced to share.
But most folks do so out the goodness of their hearts. Even Ebeneezer
Scrooge, although it took three ghosts to convince him...
