Hello John,               BK>> Which does not address my response to your comment, nor your        BK>> comment itself. Until you can guarantee what medical care you        BK>> will need that's non-responsive to life.              JM>Until you can guarantee your Government plan will cover what       JM>I need AND will be there when I need it, I'll pass on it, and stay       JM>with what I've got.              It is time to end the "healthcare for profit" scam that exists       in this country. It should have been brought to an end long ago.       Access to quality health care should not be reserved only for       those few who are rich enough to afford it, as nobody can truly       afford to get sick and die. It is a sick and disgusting system       that we have, worse than what the poorest folks in third world       countries have.               BK>> should not even seek treatment when you are injured or ill.               JM>> Why not I have insurance.               BK>> You said people with healthcare die. Unless you want to die              JM>Not to many sane people want to die.              Gary Gilmore wanted to die by firing squad.       We granted him his wish.              Timothy McVeigh wanted to die by lethal injection.       We granted him his wish.              Many others wanted to commit suicide by cop.       Many cops granted them their wish.              It's too bad no cops were around at that movie       theater in Aurora, Colorado...               JM>> Should have said care for instead care about.        JM>> You do understand the difference between "to care for"        JM>> and "to care about."               BK>> Yes. But it's not as wide as you seem to think.              JM>Or as close as you do.              Obviously, those 12 people killed in that movie theater did not need       medical attention. But what about the 58 or 59 others who were wounded?       Did they need to have health insurance in order to receive medical       attention? Obviously not. And why should anybody be forced to have       health insurance? Burt Reynolds was right - "All insurance is scam."               BK>> So, you are        BK>> saying you wouldn't mind is someone you care about dies for lack        BK>> of medical care? Or is that just another diversion you throw out        BK>> there?              JM>Of course I would mind. Most likely I would be upset, but life       JM>goes on.              The people (those who survived) in that theater are scarred for life.       Not just those who were wounded, some of whom have lifelong injuries.       Also, the families of those victims are also scarred for life. Not       just physically, but also mentally. And yet what does the National       Rifle Association have to say about all of this? Sell more arms, to       every American, with unliminted quantities of ammo for all! What a       sick society this has become.              --Lee              --- MesNews/1.06.00.00-gb        * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2)    |
