Like a lot of your crap,        JM> you pulled that one out of you ass.              To Quote your very words:               Message 469               FROM: John Massey       TO: Bob Klahn              SUBJECT: Obama Cares              On 7/15/2012 6:54, BOB KLAHN -> JOHN MASSEY wrote:              BK> Do you provide insurance for your employees?              I pay my employees as independent contractors. I pay them a set hourly wage        with nothing taken out. If they don't provide healthcare for then-self and       family it's their problem.              /Close cut and paste/              You may consider them as "employees" but, they are, in reality (you do know       what that is, living over there in conserva-fantasy land as you do),       contractors.              Now, I don't know what in state you operate your little business. But, when I       ran the satellite business I used both employees and contractors.              Employees had taxes, FICA, etc. withheld from their wages by law. Contractors       were paid - by the job, not by the hour, had to carry their own workers comp       insurance, contractor's liability, etc. And furnish their own tools, transport,       and training. And handle their own taxes.               I operated in three Midwestern states and hassled all this out with the various       departments of employment security, the feds, and the various state tax people.              If you pay your people as independent contractors (your words) with nothing       taken out of their compensation for taxes, etc. then they are NOT employees in       any state I have ever operated in or had experience of.              And if they are employees, under your direction and control, then you had       better be paying into their unemployment insurance - if nothing else. Else you       may learn to your chagrin what that costs you if one of them files a claim.              So, Johnny, I didn't pull that out of my arse. But, you do know where you can       stick it, do you not.              Nail it to the wall - so you won't forget that your own words will come back to       haunt you.              I fully expect you to weasel-word, bluster and cavil to try and make it seem as       if I have twisted your clearly stated words.              Do your best. I am done with you. You have no credibility with anyone who has       the native wit to parse a sentence and comprehend what is said.              If I knew what state you operate in I am almost tempted to dime you to the       state employment authorities and to the Feral Gummint's Eternal Revenue Service       and specify that any "whistle blower" rewards be given to the Obama re-election       campaign. Just as a further irony.              ... He does the work of 3 Men ...
