BK>> OTOH, if you beleive the way you appear to, you really should        BK>> advocate eliminating social security, medicare, medicaid, and        BK>> teh mandate that hospitals provide care in the ER even to those        BK>> who can't pay.               JM> Give me the money taken from me and put in So-So security        JM> so I can invest it my self and I would be ecstatic if we               Every year or two I get a statement of all I have paid into        social security since my first payment. Back about 1999 or 2000        someone said much what you did on a local radio program. So I        got out my statements and calculated out how much was actually        paid in. Then I got the stats for the years they cited, it was        from the year their fund started, until that year, which was 45        years after the start of the fund. They calculated out the        average person would have something like $3mill in the fund if        they averaged out the annual contribution. I used the actual        figures for that period, and calculated the total based on their        rate of 14%/yr, while the market average was 10%/yr. The total        actual result was about 10% of what they figured. Which was        about what it would take to pay real world social security.               If you think you have special investing talents, then you must        think others have lesser talents to get that 10% average. IOW,        you are willing to condemn others to a lesser level of living so        you can have what you believe would be a better standard for        you.               JM> did away with the social security, medicare, medicaid, and        JM> the mandate that hospitals provide care in the ER even to        JM> those who can't pay.               IOW, die quietly. You just admitted to wanting the republican        plan I described.               BK>> IOW, pass the republican healthcare plan, die quietly.               JM> Only truly demented person would actually believe that is        JM> the case.               Only a truly deluded person would actually believe that is not        the case.                            BOB KLAHN bob.klahn@sev.org http://home.toltbbs.com/bobklahn              ...
