   Neither does he. John finds things that seem to support his extreme-right   
   position(s) and presents them as if he actually believes that they are the   
   be-all and end-all to the topic he is pushing.

   I'm not sure he actually believes it. But, he certainly acts as if he wants the   
   rest of us to believe - or be convinced - and ignore that guy behind the   
   curtain pulling on the levers. Note that he doesn't tell us what else was in   
   the bill from Freshman Senator Rubio ... or which of his pressure group   
   supporters wrote the proposed bill. I also note that 54-45 is not exactly a   
   party-line vote.
