You are off to a great start.              Just wait till the next one, you'll be amazed that someone can think for       themself!               > Wow you pay 18 bucks an hour to be allowed to work? That' 610 a week based        > on a 40 hr.week.        > Boy are you being screwed.              It has nothing to do with being allowed to work. That is our benefits. We pay       into that so we can retire at a decent age and be able to support ourselves.       Along with excellent insurance with very minimal copays. I don't see a problem       with it at all. Even non-union you pay into that stuff right off the top of       your gross pay, don't you? No difference, there. Except we know how our stuff       is divided up, whereas most people not in a union have no clue what they're       paying out to before they actually get paid.               > If you like it that's fine. Not saying that there isn't a need for some        > people have their hands held instead of doing for them self.              You are definitely in your own little world. You should think about padding       your walls.               > You are the one that needs to remove the blinders. Unions damn near        > destroyed GM (no great loss)and have been the reason Airlines have gone         > out of business. Unions are a parasite on hard working Americans              Bullshit. The members of those unions damn near destroyed it themselves by       becoming complacent and outright lazy. You don't need a $35/hr broom pusher, or       air traffic controllers falling asleep on the job. Those have nothing to do       with the union themselves. Nice try, though.              The majority of people I've talked to that work non-union in construction only       have one excuse for not being union.. and that's because they don't want to       have to succomb to random piss tests. How's that for your "hard working       Americans?"              --       Nick aka axisd - telnet://bbs.pharcyde.org        http://pharcyde.org       --- SBBSecho 2.13-Linux        * Origin: thePharcyde_ telnet://bbs.pharcyde.org (Wisconsin) (1:154/10)    |
