|    Obama Cares    |

Hello Everybody,              The Affordable Care Act is the law of the land.       Especially now that we know it is a tax.       The largest tax in American history.       At least according to Chief Justice John Roberts.       Health insurance is a product.       And all products that are bought and sold can be taxed.       Therefore, Obama's care package is constitutional.              Foes of the Affordable Care Act claim that Americans       are being forced to buy a product they do not want.       And that is the basis of their argument that Obama's       healthcare legislation is unconstitutional. However,       what they fail to take into account is the fact that       Americans do have a choice, since those Americans who       refuse to purchase health insurance can be fined by       the government. But, as Chief Justice John Roberts       correctly notes, that fine is really a tax (a rose       by any other name is still a rose, even if it stinks).              How did Chief Justice John Roberts arrive at that       conclusion? Every American has the right to "life,       liberty and the pursuit of happiness". The right       to life is paramount, affordable healthcare being       the first of all human rights. For those Americans       who refuse to buy health insurance, healthcare will       be provided for them in case of need. And who picks       up the tab? American taxpayers.              But hey. What about the fine? Doesn't that cover       whatever cost that might exist, thus saving American       taxpayers from having to foot the bill? Well, no.       You see, President Obama is a genius. Although his       lackeys in Congress included a mandate, and a fine       for those who refuse to buy, there is no enforcement       mechanism. IOW, the IRS cannot compel any individual       to pay the fine. And no law enforcement agency can       arrest an individual who refuses to pay the fine.       I mean tax.              Don't you love it? I know I do. Tax-free healthcare       for all Americans. Courtesy of President Obama and       his Democratic allies. Obama cares. And so does Chief       Justice John Roberts.              Thank you, George W. Bush.              --Lee                      * SLMR 2.1a * Mais, jamais de la vie.              --- Maximus 3.01        * Origin: Xaragmata / Adelaide SA telnet://xaragmata.mooo.com (3:800/432)    |
