   The Blue Room in New Orleans is a union club.  In order   
   for a musician to perform there, a musician must be a member   
   of his/her union.   
      
   Most clubs are not union.  But some are.   
      
   Most musicians do not belong to a union.  But some do.   
      
   The best musicians, and the richest, do not belong to a union.   
   Even though some of them (such as Bruce Springsteen and Pete Seger)   
   may be very sympathetic to unions.
