Hello Alexander,               MM>> I think the leader of Iran wanted to move the Jews in Isreael/Palestine        MM>> to North Dakota.               ak> Probably I should have write "unsettled" instead of "inhabitable." But all        ak> habitable territories are already settled. So "inhabitable" is correct        ak> anyway.              Zionism comes in two versions. One version was that a Zionist state       could be created anywhere (the original idea being for Jews to set up       a Jewish state in present-day Uganda). The other version was that a       Jewish state should be created in the land of Palestine, which iw the       version that was eventually chosen/adopted. However, the version       that exists today is incomplete. The idea is for a Jewish state to       stretch from the Mediterranean Sea to the Tigris/Euphrates (modern-day       Iraq).              Every square inch of habitable lands have been contested by man. Not       just land in Africa and the Middle East. Even inhabitable lands have       been contested. For a recent example, the Falkland Islands. Nobody       really cared about the few sheepherders who were living on the main       islands. That war was really about oil.               ak> It only underlines that it was impossible to create Jewish state at        ak> the settled territories without shedding rivers of blood. Jews clearly        ak> should been created a one more civilized democratic state that could have        ak> been suitable for all nations, Arabs included.              The United Nations voted to create *two* Palestinian states - one for       the Jews, and one for the Arabs. Both sides rejected the plan, but the       Jews gladly took what they could get. Go ahead. Look at the original       maps. The first war between the Arabs and the Jews was fought on Arab       lands. The second war between the Arabs and the Jews was fought on       Arab lands. Every war fought between the Arabs and the Jews has been       fought on Arab lands.              The Iranian president is a blustering fool who has absolutely no       intention of starting another war between the Arabs and the Jews.       Besides, he is Persian, not Arab. Today there is much talk about       war. Not by the Iranian president or the mullahs running that       country, but by the Israeli prime minister and his war cabinet.              What will happen if Israel and/or the US bombs Iranian nuclear       facilities? Iranians will defend their homeland, despite their       president being unpopular. Not only that, but Arabs around the       world will also be up in arms. Along with Afghans, who already       want to behead as many Americans (and other infidels) as they       can find.              Israel is more of a theocracy than a democracy. Kind of like       a Jewish version of Iran. Only a tad bit different. Jews have       rights, non-Jews do not. Jews are citizens. Arabs who are       Israelis are second-rate citizens, not having the same rights       as Jews.              What you have in Israel are two peoples and three religions. Trying       to get two peoples who hate each others guts to work together is hard       enough. Combine that with three religions and it becomes an utter       impossibility.              --Lee              --- MesNews/1.06.00.00-gb        * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2)    |
