    From the end of WWII till 2009 the total number of democrats who   
    did not increase military spending could be counted on zero   
    fingers. The total number of republicans who did not cut   
    military spending could be counted on two fingers. Both of them   
    mulitiplied the national debt.   
      
    Obama has not schedualed defense spending cuts. That's mostly   
    because Bush did Iraq and Afghanistan off budget, so they were   
    not schedualed spending, so they were fund as you go with   
    borrowed money.   
      
    Obama increased budgeted military spending, which is necessary   
    to rebuild the military.
