   "In the name of" does not necesarily equate to the real reason.   
   All wars are economic, and can be defined as being an exchange of   
   human lives for real estate.  The conflict in the Middle East is   
   no different.  It is about land, not religion, although religion   
   is (and always has been) used as being an excuse for war.

   We were content buying oil from Iraq.  Until GWB decided to invade   
   the country in order to have a Shiite hit squad execute one Sunni.   
   Imagine that.  Wasting over 4,000 American lives to have one Iraqi   
   executed by religious nutcases.   
      
   Saddam Hussein was no more al-Qaeda than any other Arab dictator.   
   In fact, he hated al-Qaeda and hunted them down.  With weapons we   
   gave or sold to him.  The Saudi king is no different.

   Everybody hates us, not just Arabs and Persians.  Just because   
   a people hate us does not give us the right to make war on them.

   We nuked Hiroshima.  We nuked Nagasaki.  To this day, the US remains   
   the only country in the world that has nuked any city.  The world has   
   condemned us for our actions, even though other countries now have   
   nuclear weapons.  If this country nukes an Arab city/cities, not only   
   will Arabs go on the warpath against Israel and the US, but the entire   
   world (especially Russia and China) is likely to do so.

   We had no problem with ourselves buying Iraqi oil.  And had GWB not   
   been so hell-bent on having one particular Iraqi executed, thousands   
   of American soldiers would still be alive.  Today we are again buying   
   Iraqi oil, just as in times past.  The only difference being there is   
   a new dictator in town...

   Are you willing to pay $10/gallon to tank up your car?  $20?  $30?   
   If we choose to stick our heads into the sand and pretend we do not   
   need to import oil from countries such as Saudi Arabia, that is what

   black rock, throwing stones at Satan.

   We sold grain to the USSR.  And they gave us arms agreements in return.   
   We can do the same with the Arabs.  We sell them what they want, they   
   give us what we want.  Since Americans do not care much for sand, they   
   can give us some black gold instead.  Note, the Saudis import sand from   
   the US, as they do not have the right kind of sand to make cement.

   You really need to get out more, and meet some Saudis here   
   in this country.  You should be able to find some at any Islamic   
   Welcome Center.  Let them show you their ways, the peace of Allah,   
   as you submit to his will...
