   You do realize that is a very *lame* and *weak* excuse, especially   
   for Republican candidates for president, to say about their leader.   
   What you (and everyone) should do is *condemn* Rush Limbaugh's hateful   
   rhetoric, distancing yourself from such ilk.

   Rush Limbaugh is the de facto leader of the Republican Party.   
   Dismissing him as a mere entertainer rather than condemning him   
   for his actions is giving tacit approval to what he says.

   If Rush Limbaugh were nothing but a mere entertainer (as you and the   
   Republican candidates for president like to say), then you and your   
   Republican pals would have no problem condemning him for his hateful   
   rhetoric/actions.

   Republicans worship Rush Limbaugh as a god.  They love him.   
   They adore him.  They can't live without him.  And when he speaks   
   out of line, they laugh, shrug their shoulders, and get some more   
   finger food while waiting for his next rant to be on the air.
