-> FS>>> (Ask the American Indians about their history.) Since Israel       -> FS>>> has now occupied that land for six decades, they now have as       -> FS>>> much right to it as do the Palestinians.       -> ak>> The core of the problem is that Palestinians is not a small       -> ak>> ethnic group whose rights can be violated with impunity. All       -> ak>> the Arabs actually is one nation, with one language       ->        -> FS> Actually the Arabian nations not only have more than one       -> FS> dialect of Arabic, some cannot even understand the other.       -> FS> Example, Egyptian Arabic is said to be completely       -> FS> unintelligible to Iraqi Arabic speakers. And Iran, of course,       -> FS> isn't even an Arabian nation; they speak Farsi. However, they       -> FS> all hate Israel with about the same intensity.       ->        -> Well, probably Israelis would understand Palestinians better if they       -> had put themselves in their boots after the WW2. What had happened       -> then?              True enough -- but equally true for *all* nations, if they would put       themselves in the shoes of other nations.              -> The people, who had lived there for almost two thousand of years,       -> had been ordered to accept the people of another nation; and not       -> only to accept them but to admit that they, Palestinians, must       -> become subjects of that people's new state and live in a country       -> that must be a Jewish religious country. I.e. the Arab people from       -> the beginning were supposed to be a second grade people which must       -> accept all the Jewish laws and live in the country where the Jewish       -> religion is not separated from the state. It was even worse that       -> just occupation.       ->        -> If I say in Russia "Russia must be the state for Russians" I would       -> be called "fascist." If a German say "Germany for Germans" he would       -> be called "nazi". It only remains to wonder who were Jews when they       -> started establishing a state for Jews on Arab's land.              I cannot answer you question about the Jews. However I disagree with you       WRT the Russian and German sayings. That is, I disagree with the effects.               -> Even now the main thesis of Israelis is that Israel must be a Jewish       -> state. It is a racist position, and it is and it was unacceptable to       -> all the people who live or lived in Palestine, except Jews of       -> course.       ->        -> So, the way the Jewish people started to build their state was       -> objectionable from the scratch, and it was clear that the process       -> was doomed to become a pretext for a wars. Besides it is a pretext       -> for a war even now. Because "Jewish state" is the core thesis       -> Palestinians have been demanding to accept. Naturally they don't       -> want to do it. And with every year passing hatred against Jews are       -> steadily increasing.       ->        -> The way out is clear. In the present world there must not be       -> countries where one nation is more superior than another. When this       -> ugly item be resolve the situation in Palestine would be resolved       -> much easier.              I think you propose an idealistic solution which will never develop.       --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5        * Origin: Since 1991 And Were Still Here!
