Hi, BOB KLAHN! How are you?       on Friday, 02 of March, I read your message to ALEXANDER KORYAGIN       about "Writing about the first amendment"               AK>> The core of the problem is that Palestinians is not a        AK>> small ethnic group whose rights can be violated with        AK>> impunity. All the Arabs actually is one nation, with one        AK>> language, dignity and etc. That's why a humiliation of a        AK>> small part of this nation causes great uproar, anger and        AK>> hatred all over the world. The present events in Syria is        AK>> a bright example.               BK> The Arabs are about as splintered as they come. They are        BK> found on both sides as regards to Syria. They really don't        BK> all that much care about the Palestinians, but the        BK> Palestinians are an excuse to divert their people away from        BK> the leadership's failures.              It isn't necessary to speak of all Arabs. Terror does not need       all Arabs. Any nation always has extremist groups, ready for       violence. If a problem is small their activity is insignificant.       But when a problem is big we see radicalization of great masses       of population and turmoil spreads over great areas. If we speak       of the Arab radicals yes, Palestinians became their main flag       and excuse. As much as Israel and the US became a       personification of evil. And it would be much better if the Arab       radicals lose such a flag.              This radicalism makes situation worse in the whole world.       Dictators now feel better! Twenty years ago they "suppressed       freedoms," but now the situation has given them an excuse - now       they fight against terrorism and extremism. Don't look at them       askance now! Actually everybody who fights against them can be       considered as a terrorist, put in prison or even killed "because       he showed resistance" to the forces of law.              Many countries get used to live in condition that is actually       similar to a curfew.               |
