If I can find them, I'll start posting them.       >LL>I should have enough to last at least until Election Day...              >LL>Er...              >LL>The rules do not mention newsletters, do they?              >BK>I do believe they would be covered. Which is, not allowed. Put       >BK>them on a website and link them.              I might do that. Have website, but have not done anything       with it as of yet.              >LL>Can you imagine the clamor that would cause? The news media       >LL>would be hounding me like, forever. Especially if Ron Paul       >LL>starts winning some primaries...              BK>Send me copies. I'll find a place to post them.              You can find them online, as they were posted on fidonet.       But you'd have to go back many moons to find them. More like       decades. Late 1980s/early 1990s.              >LL>And speeches are also okay?       >LL>I can post entire newsletters, speeches, and rants?       >LL>Those are all on topic for this echo?              >BK>Uh... no.              >LL>Oh, well. At least I can post my recipes...              BK>Only because it's the length of the material, not the degree of       BK>toxicity that is limited.              Toxicity? You want toxicity?              Tuna Twinkie Casserole              1 tablespoon bacon fat       12 Hostess Twinkies       Salt       Pepper       1/2 teaspoon dry mustard       4 eggs       2 cans tuna fish in oil       Dash of Tabasco              Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.       Grease a small casserole dish with       1 teaspoon of bacon fat and 1 teaspoon       of tuna oil.       Slice Twinkies in half lengthwise.       Remove filling, but save filling in separate bowl.       In another bowl, combine Twinkies, half of filling,       and remainder of bacon fat and tuna oil, blending       into a thin batter.       Put mixture into small pot on stove.       Cook over low heat.       Salt and pepper to taste, along with mustard.       Remove from heat.       Beat the eggs and pour the beaten eggs into the pot       along with the tuna fish (Tabasco optional).       Pour this mixture into casserole dish.       Bake in 350 degree F oven 40 to 45 minutes.       Top with remaining cream filling.       Serve with salad.              A variation of this dish can be found at http://bertc.com/              >BK>Rants if they are all yours are ok.              >LL>I see you left yourself some wiggle room.              >BK>The rule banning articles also covers newsletters.              >LL>Aha! Podcasts are on topic! Or rather, transcripts of       >LL>podcasts! All I need now are volunteers to transcribe those       >LL>podcasts...              >LL>* SLMR 2.1a * "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead, the Wicked       >LL>Witch is Dead"              BK>"Ding Dong the Bitch is dead, the Wicked Bitch is Dead."              BK>Version first sung by the Munchkins.              What was so "wicked" about the Wicked Witch? Why did the Munchkins       (and everybody else) in Munchkinland hate her so? Even Dorothy had       great difficulty understanding. I mean, she didn't mean to melt her,       as she apologized profusely for doing so.              The Wicked Witch of the West. What a term. L. Frank Baum       was an American. And yet he coined the term. Why did he not       write "The Wicked Witch of the East"? Was he a closet Communist?       Or perhaps a Fascist in disguise?              Munchkinlanders were certainly not American.              "Well," said the Head, "I will give you my answer.       You have no right to expect me to send you back to       Kansas unless you do something for me in return.       In this country everyone must pay for everything he       gets. If you wish me to use my magic power to send       you home again you must do something for me first.       Help me and I will help you."       "What must I do?" asked the girl.       "Kill the wicked Witch of the West," answered Oz.              --L. Frank Baum, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz"              Has it ever occured to you (or anybody else) that       Dorothy killed the wrong witch? And why did Oz want       the Witch of the West dead? Why did Oz call her evil?              L. Frank Baum's books about Oz is a vision of utopia.       But like St. Thomas More's utopia, it is no utopia that       I would want to live in.              I have all of Baum's Oz books. You and others can find       them online, for free, at manybooks.net              The guy was genius. Pure genius. But also evil.       Kind of like the male version of Ayn Rand. :)              --Lee                      * SLMR 2.1a * War does not determine who is right - only who is left.              --- Maximus 3.01        * Origin: Xaragmata / Adelaide SA telnet://xaragmata.mooo.com (3:800/432)    |
