Hello Bob,              >BK>What did you find from Rev Wright that was racist?              >LL>Rev. Wright is a black man, speaking to a black audience.       >LL>It's a black thing. Black on black. With a white man       >LL>looking on. Unnerstan'?              >BK>I've used that line.              >LL>It's a black thang. Something white folks don' unnerstan'.              BK>Yes, I've used that line.              With, or without, blackface?              >LL>Rev. Pat Robertson is a white man, speaking to a white       >LL>audience. It's a white thing. White on white. With a       >LL>black man looking on. Unnerstan'?              >BK>Pat Robertson? You define him that way? Not white, you define       >BK>him as a man? I thought he was just another servant of Satan.              >LL>Check out the Obama file -              >LL>http://theobamafile.com/              BK>I checked it out. It's a mass of garbage.              Yeah. But some folks actually believe it. But hey. Since       Democrats can have a president whose father was from Kenya, then       Republicans can have a president whose father was from Mexico.       Imagine that. Americans having a choice between voting for       a Kenyan or a Mexican. Don't laugh. It could happen. I mean,       four years ago we had a choice between a Kenyan and a Panamanian.       OTOH, we could wind up electing a president who was adopted,       with his birthplace being a secret. Wait a minute. We have       that now...              John McCain was born in Panama, the hospital being outside       of the canal zone. Mitt Romney's father was born in Mexico,       and was an undocumented worker in the US. Newt Gingrich was       allegedly born in Pennsylvania, his given name being Newton       Leroy McPherson, but is an adopted child.              >MM>then Ron Paul could publish a       >MM>newsletter for 20 years and not read anything racist." --       >MM>some guy on the internet. Wow! Speaks volumes about media       >MM>hypocrisy.              >BK>The piece in the newsletter was clearly racist. Not to mention       >BK>being false.              >LL>Ron Paul claims not to have read any of those newsletters.              >BK>Quite possible.              >LL>I still have loads of those newsletters on diskette.       >LL>Unfortunately, I no longer have a disk drive that supports       >LL>those diskettes.              BK>3.5 or 5 inch?              The big 5 inch ones. I do have an external 3.5 though. :)              >BK>Ron Paul seems to be in his own little world.              >BK>I watched some of the Republican Debates. Ron Paul is the only       >BK>candidate I felt was telling the truth.              >LL>As only a kook could tell it.              BK>The other kooks can't seem to.              I listened to the speech Ron Paul gave to his supporters       in Virginia, just after the results came in from Michigan       and Arizona. His main point was about the undeclared wars       we are presently engaged in, and potential wars we could       wind up getting involved in. Paul's anti-war message was       right on target, and more than a bit isolationist.              What's wrong with diplomacy and negotiation? Telling others       what to do and how to do it will never work. Especially when       pointing a big gun in their face. What Paul misses is that       without the threat of force, no diplomacy or negotiation will       be taken seriously by rogue states (such as Syria, Iran, etc.).       However, given what GWB did, Paul may be more right than he       realizes.              The other issue that Paul tackled was the Patriot Act, with       Paul referring to that piece of legislation as being an attack       on the Fourth Amendment. Again, Paul is more right than he       realizes, as civil liberties and rights should always be       protected for all Americans.              >>> Continued to next message               * SLMR 2.1a * War does not determine who is right - only who is left.              --- Maximus 3.01        * Origin: Xaragmata / Adelaide SA telnet://xaragmata.mooo.com (3:800/432)    |
