Hello Bob,              >RW>Agreed, i consider the clinton years a buble that was bound       >RW>to burst, sooner or later, and it wasn't that good, but at       >RW>least money was moving around, and folks were spending it.              >LL>I still have the speech to the nation Bill Clinton gave       >LL>about the meaning of the word "is". The man was such a       >LL>great debater he could convince his harshest critics he was       >LL>right.              BK>Except for the fact that there was no such speech. That was an       BK>exchange before the grand jury.              Washington DC, 17 August 1998, speech to the nation, on television,       after admitting to a grand jury investigation that he had had a       relationship with that woman (Monica Lewinsky), a relationship which       he had previously seemed to deny.              By relationship, that did not necessarily mean sex, as Clinton       described the relationship as having been "inappropriate."              Do mark my words carefully - Bill Clinton's entire speech is the       definitive definition of what the word "is" is. And the American       people bought it - hook, line and sinker.              To this day, I consider that speech to be one of the greatest       speeches of all time. A truly masterful performance given by       the most popular president in US history.              >LL>How did Mitt Romney get so fabulously wealthy? And why is       >LL>he using his wealth to steamroll his way to the Republican       >LL>nomination? Nobody seems to know what Mitt Romney is all       >LL>about. What is he              BK>He got rich by screwing working people. He wants to be president       BK>because his ego hasn't got much more to reach for.              Shades of PT Barnum?              --Lee                      * SLMR 2.1a * Don't you get it?
