Hi, FRANK SCHEIDT! How are you?       on Monday, 27 of February, I read your message to ALEXANDER KORYAGIN       about "Re: Writing about the first amendment"               ak>> Americans have been loosing there freedom in other way. When they        ak>> chose to support Israel in its unjust ways in Palestine they at        ak>> long last had brought terrorism to the mainland.               FS> While it's true, Israel occupied Palestine in the late 1940s        FS> illegally, a similar beginning applies to all nations -- including        FS> the US. A stronger group takes over a weaker one. (Ask the        FS> American Indians about their history.) Since Israel has now        FS> occupied that land for six decades, they now have as much right to        FS> it as do the Palestinians.              The core of the problem is that Palestinians is not a small ethnic       group whose rights can be violated with impunity. All the Arabs       actually is one nation, with one language, dignity and etc. That's why       a humiliation of a small part of this nation causes great uproar, anger       and hatred all over the world. The present events in Syria is a bright       example.              Israel pretends that he solved all its problems. But Israel looks like       an ostrich with its head down in ground. It sees nothing around itself       and is unaware that its actions cause great waves of anger and hatred       across the whole world. It would be a little problem if violence and       terror would be an Israel's problem only. But actually, many of the       world's present day problems on this planet have been caused by       injustice towards Palestinians. Solve the problem in Palestine -       we'll have a different, better planet!               FS> I don't believe the US should support any foreign country,        FS> including Israel, Egypt, etc. However Israel has the right to live        FS> in peace!              Terrorist and intolerance can be easily divided. If we have several       terrorists we can say they are sick people. But when thousands of       people wage war, and they are a weakest side, it means that a great       injustice was made.              Taking in account that the Arabs is a great worldwide nation we see       clearly that no peaceful solution can be achieved without liberation of       the Arab part of Palestine and a fare division of the Palestine. It       doesn't matter who began wars in this conflict. The main thing that       Israel is not in position to confiscate the Arab lands.               ak>> After that Americans are not any more free people. You are        ak>> tapped, you are searched at airports like criminals, they cannot        ak>> freely and safely travel around the world, etc.               FS> We are NOT searched at airports "like criminals". The airport        FS> searching is in the interest of our own safety. If you don't like        FS> being searched -- and I don't -- then you can refuse to take a        FS> plane anywhere and travel via other means. As I do.              I, personally, would prefer to have additional risk to being searched       constantly.               |
