According to Kinsey 1 out of every 10 men are gay. keep in mind, that this
ratio is not a hard fact because not all men are "out". And in the time of the
founding of this experiment any fruits would have been tightly closeted ...
   for their very lives.

FS> Political Correctness is involved when one uses

Which is what I was implying. See, you picked right up on that.

-> political correctness is a natural outgrowth of that mess. More like,
-> political correctness is an outgrowth of Dr. Spock (the real one,
-> not the character Leonard Nimoy portrayed - Nanoo, nanoo).

FS> I disagree. Lyndon Johnson's beloved Vietnam "war" caused a general

FS> Then the so-called "counter culture" came up with expressions later
FS> dubbed "politically-correct", i.e., those expressions they agreed with.

Nope, Spock pre-dated Lyndon Bird. With his "mustn't spank or speak harshly
lest we warp the children's little psyche(s)." Probably should have warped
their little arses in many cases ... but, that's just my take on Spock's
theories. His pop-psychiatry/child rearing crap was the nose of the
politically correct camel under the tent of public opinion.
