ECHO AT&C1 >COM1              That doesn't work, I tried loading my favorite comm program (ComIt) and no        rlfossil showing up in there. Kinda sucks but I think its only talking to        programs that use the BNU fossil (or X00).              NA> If I understand correctly that Rlfossil emulates a modem, it should logical       NA> emulate the Eeprom, so you write a "good" config to the modem I believe wit       NA> AT&W. When the modem initializes with ATZ it should recall that stored       NA> profile.              It wants the init string to be ATS1=23S4=2Z works perfect. Other (real) modem        strings return NO CARRIER.              NA> What happens if you disable the BBS entirely in D'Bridge via        NA> Config-Advanced-BBS and then try connecting? You should receive the message       NA> "Please hangup, accepting Email sessions only". When you do hangup, what is       NA> the status of the CD light?              A different sort of loop.        I orderd a Wifi Comport modem thingie from TheOldNet that will eliminate the        need for the network driver and the packet driver. Ill give that a shot. Found       out if I have the packet driver alone the nic or router or software fizzles        out after 15 minutes from launch and is no longer listening on 23.       Sucks because that network driver eats so much memory there is not enough room       for Dbridge and IQ thus that Runtime error.               -lux              --- Renegade vY2Ka2        * Origin: Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?
