   Agreed.   
      
   I have seen several examples of WWIV related programs that were originally   
   never supposed to be open sourced.  I have not hit any resistance on any of   
   them changing their minds and allowing them to be open sourced.     
      
   Some were happy and suprised to see after all these years the application was   
   still being used.  They were more than willing to both provide me with the   
   original source and grant the right to allow to be open sourced.
