JD>> Perhaps elsewhere, but not in Taskbar in the location y9ou mention.

RN> Where did I mention Taskbar?

JD> Meant to write Task Manager. Sorry

   Okay.

JD>> Found it. It's under the Details Tab instead.

RN> I posted them two different times so as not to confuse you. The 1st was
    RN> for W7 and the 'Follow-up' was for W10.

JD> Yes, but that came after I followed directions on you first message

RN> AHA! If you have nothing but that, then it is a single core

RN> BinkD is still going to sleep on you.

    JD> Yes

Then something else is at play here and I don't want to venture what it is. I
   hope Nick reads this.

RN> Is that your BBS machine? If so, what do your other machines show?

JD> Yes. As stated in another message, this machine is a quad
JD> processor, and it shows all 4

I'm lost. I thought you wrote (and meant) that your BBS machine was a single
   core processor.

RN> [For dual- and multicore processors]
RN> If you unclick on the checked square that reads All processors,
RN> naturally it's going to turn them all off. While they are all
RN> unchecked, simply click on the one marked CPU 0 (that's the 1st
RN> one listed) at that point and you'll be fine.

JD> Only if you have more then one (as per your bracketed title for
JD> this para. Single processor will turn both off or on, no matter if
JD> you uncheck the All Processors, or CPU 0 checkmars,

   See above.

RN> If that doesn't work, then send me screen shots as I mentoned in the
    RN> previous message.
