   Oh, I know...  I've been a behind-the-scenes kinda co-mod for one echo   
   that a friend of mine moderates.  Sometimes I have to mod the mod... in   
   netmail or email, of course...  :)   
      
   But one can be perceived as present and actively moderating without   
   having to officially don the moderator hat... that's usually more   
   effective anyway...  :)  Post proper messages, set a good rather than a   
   bad example... that goes a long way towards a well-run, enjoyable echo.
