|    Just checking in    |

Hi all,              I'm just checking in. My life has been crazy of late and I haven't done much       with messaging on the computer.              On Oct. 31st I started the job from hell. How this company gets away with the       things they do to the employees is beyond my comprehension. I won't go into all       the gory details but on the line between legal and illegal, they are sitting on       it dangling their feet over the side. We won't even talk about ethics as they       have none at all.              The good part *maybe* is that I now have health insurance. Going to the doctor       was interesting because I felt healthy *before* I walked into his office. I       found out my cholesteral is too high but not real bad, I have the bones of a       35-year old *BUT* my hip bones are thinning out and pinched nerves in both of       my elbows. Oh and he told me I'm overweight but I knew that already. I was       already taking a multi-vitamin so I planned on keep doing that. Now I'm taking       Omega3 for my cholesterol as well as other things, calcium with vitamin D for       the bones, etc and Evista for the hip bones. I fought the doc on the Evista       because I hate taking meds with all the side effects. So far, so good in that I       haven't noticed any of the side effects from the Evista.              Now I'm on short-term disability because I had my left elbow operated on to       unpinch the nerve there. The other elbow will be done in the future. I wasn't       out of the hospital a whole week when my one tooth started hurting. I didn't       need the Vicadin for the elbow but needed it for the tooth. I found that I was       sleeping constantly and not eating any food. I've only started eating the other       day but still feel weak.              Enter the dentist: I went to the dentist who sent me to an oral surgeon. This       is going on the 3rd week of a toothache. It seems that the rule is that the       oral surgeon has to do an evaluation (he looked into my mouth and said the       tooth needs pulled). This will happen this coming Tuesday. More days of not       eating right and probably sleeping a lot.              None of this happened until I started going to the doctor. hehehe              I'm going to try to get in here more often *after* I get this achy tooth       pulled.              I am looking for another job. I did learn one lesson though. It isn't good to       be looking for a job when you are desperate for one because you will take       anything.              Sharon                            ---        * Origin: Shar's Wildlife (1:3613/1275.7)    |
