   I used to do that too.  Then I discovered Linux and found it already can   
   handle what needed a work-around in DOS and did it much better then the DOS   
   work-around given that my DOS work-arounds tended to be attempts to make DOS   
   more Unixie, which Linux is by default without any work-arounds.
