   Right.  So much for the power of elisting or ownership of any echo no matter   
   what the moderator or the keeper of the echolist might think.  Given this then   
   it seems to me that real names ought to be ditched by Fido sysops if they wish   
   to prevent harassment, or even worse, of their users from outside Fido.

   Seems to me it is easier to use phoney usernames and save a bunch of hassel

   Whatever.  I doubt it matters anymore.  The attacks will come from outside.    
   The only way I see to prevent or minimize damage is to use phoney names.

   That makes sense.  No elisting either.  However that screws up distribution   
   which isn't a big deal anymore given the current situation.
