   I was never much of a skater even though I used to skate every winter at local   
   outdoor 'rinks'.  My hockey experience was mostly on the fly, thrown together   
   teams and usually half the kids didn't even have skates or hockey equipment   
   other then a stick, and those were often debatable as to regarded as standard   
   hockey sticks.  My forte seems to have been playing the boards and thus ended   
   up playing defence more often then not.  I was an extremely lousy goalie   
   anytime I ever played that position, skates or not.   
      
   Bottomline was fun was had by all, regardless of who won or lost.  I like   
   hockey.  I think it is a requirement in the Great White North so it happens to   
   work for me.
