   I wasn't talking about Ladysmith but instead the point across the harbour   
   which is considered part of Ladysmith but really isn't.  This is the   
   neighbourhood I am in.  Not touristy at all, to say the least, so it makes a   
   great get-away spot for the locals who know about it.  Mostly people from   
   Ladysmith, Nanaimo, or Duncan although sometimes there are a few from further   
   who stumble across it and spend some time here.  A very quiet and peaceful   
   place most of the year and all the more permanent residents tend to prefer   
   that but don't seem to have an issue with the summer people.
