   Basically, wrt a linux based BBS, it is unlikely that any offline formats   
   would be supported if someone, mainly me, writes the format as well as the   
   access to that format.  Given that none of the users here use or want suitable   
   clients for offlining then it doesn't seem likely to ever happen.  Also it   
   seems to me that the situation is simular everywhere given that there is so   
   little going on in Fido echoes, nevermind offlining.  Mostly I just run across   
   sysops other then this echo, and the few true users here already have their   
   needed access taken care of.  Thus I still see no need to go beyond what is   
   already working.  I just need to start making this work for me or just leave   
   well enough alone.  At this writing I am just leaving it all alone and working   
   on other things that have nothing to do with Fido or it's formats.   
      
   Given all that, then I have doubts the current situation will ever improve, do   
   you?
