Hey Sharon! Oct 06 16:24 05, Sharon Coyne wrote to Maurice Kinal: SC> Mom's are like that sometimes. Mine definetly was. I loved that woman dearly despite that. :-) SC> It is true across the board. I know some women who treat their guys SC> pretty bad SC> too. Me too. Same with the reverse and both at the same time. Everytime I encounter that situation it reaffirms my faith in my singularity. SC> Maybe worse than the ones doing the mistreating is the too SC> passive one who SC> allows it to happen. Could be, but it often appears to me it is mostly from fear of loneliness, the unknown, or just downright fear of the partner, although I haven't really run across the latter other then to hear tales or TV etc. People I fear I tend to avoid in the first place so I have no idea about their relationships and am not sure I want to either. SC> That goes both ways too. Either way, both need SC> to build up SC> their self-esteem and treat each other better. Amen. I'll go along with that. SC> Of course the younger women want the older men. They don't want to go SC> to jail. That isn't what they said on the news thingy I saw. The ones that expressed an opinion liked their men to be men and not have to mother them. Something like that. SC> hehehehe Ok, 30ish is still young. To me it is. SC> They needed to talk more to the 40 SC> or even SC> 50 and up women. I think they did in the study the news thingy was about but only interviewed 30-ish women to see what they thought about it. For the mostpart those particular women agreed that in the real world an older stable man was what they really found attractive, all things considered. No surprise here. SC> Maybe a bit older to those 30ishs means more SC> security SC> moneywise, although with the job situation that isn't always true SC> nowadays. That was definetly a big part of it but not the end all and be all. SC> That could have definitely been what made the older man more SC> attractive. See above. SC> Personally, I look at what kind of man the man is before I look at SC> anything SC> else. I want nice over anything else. How about a nice 'bad boy' man? :-) SC> Peer pressure, status, not much different really. It is just a shame SC> the kids SC> have to go through it all. Same with adults. SC> Well, I've heard teen pregnancies have gone down and up. I guess it SC> depends who SC> is taking the poll. I think where is a big part too. Apparently in rural areas it is on the increase or at least higher then urban areas per capita type deal. That is what I've heard anyhow. I have no personal experience with the problem ... thank goodness. SC> We are getting close to fall weather now, but still getting mostly 80 SC> degree SC> days in October. I'll take it!!! :-) Cool and wettish here. Overall it isn't too bad and they are predicting a mild winter for this area. If true I am all for it. Also they predict more snow for the local ski slopes so that should make Danny Ceppa happy. Right Danny?
