   Quite some time ago, I think it was the CBS channel that dropped its    
   affiliate in Albany area.  That affiliate was the very first station    
   to sign on as CBS.  They joined the "enemy", NBC, I think.  (I may    
   have the national channels backwards.)     
      
   The local channel needs to make money.  The other network's programming    
   was more lucrative at the time.
