     1 lb Ground beef
     1 sm Onion; diced
     2 Garlic cloves; minced
1 c Water (or beef broth)
     8 oz Tomato sauce
     1 ts Salt
     1 ts Cumin
     1 ts Paprika
     1 ts Oregano
     1 tb Chili powder

Heat skillet to 350øF. Brown ground beef, breaking it up finely.

Sprinkle all spices over meat and stir 30 seconds to bloom.

Add tomato sauce and water; mix well.

Reduce heat to 225-250øF and simmer uncovered 20-30 minutes,
   stirring occasionally, until thickened.
