   Hi Ben,

   RH> We're getting a gentle snow fall--started about 10:30 this morning and
RH> probably have somewhere +/- 1/4" so far. It's supposed to keep going
RH> thru tomorrow; we went out yesterday to do some stocking up. Should the

BC> That sounds almost idyllic, being prepared and having a backup plan to
BC> be warm, toasty, and well fed.

It was nice; we ended up being caught between 2 systems than never
merged so we only got about 3.5 inches and our power stayed on. Still
had remainders of it (and the previoouos week's ice storm) when we left
for Florida last week but they were all melted when we got home
   yesterday.

BC> The other day i got a pair of disposable aluminum bundt cake pans
at BC> the Dollar Tree and they fit perfectly on top of each other in
the BC> crockpot. Today i plan to try my hand at making cornbread in
the BC> crockpot. I plan to put foil on top of the pans, and put
wooden BC> chopsticks in between to support the top pan.

Sounds good to me. I used to (may still, for all I know) have the cake
baking pan and rack for the crock pot. I'll have to do some hunting. (G)

    BC> Happy camping!

It was fun, Steve did a lot of "radioing", spent a bunch of $$$ on radio
related things (plus a banded agate heart necklace for me). I bought a
thrift store jacket and lunch for myself on an off site shopping trip
with some of the other ladies. We met some new friends, ate well and had
an over all good time. My crock pot goulash ended up being made on the
stove top (intended pot wasn't big enough) but ended up just as good,
brought maybe a cup back to our camper after the pot luck.
