         1    Lettuce head; washed,   
              - chilled   
         1 bn Romaine; washed, chilled   
       1/4 c  Olive or salad oil   
         2 md Zucchini; thinly sliced   
         1 c  Radishes; sliced   
         3    Green onions; sliced   
         3 tb Blue cheese; crumbled   
              - (optional)   
         2 tb Tarragon or wine vinegar   
       3/4 ts Salt   
         1 cl Garlic; crushed   
       1/4 ts MSG   
         1 ds Freshly ground pepper;   
              - generous   
      
     Into large salad bowl, tear greens into bite-sized pieces, about 10   
     cups. Toss with oil until leaves glisten. Add zucchini, radishes,   
     onions, and cheese. Combine vinegr, salt, garlic, MSG, and pepper;   
     pour over salad mixture and toss.
