   MMMMM----   Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06   
      
         Title: Apple Pie A La Zing   
    Categories: Pies, Desserts, Fruits   
         Yield: 6 servings   
      
         4 c  Peeled, sliced apples   
       3/4 c  Craisins® Dried Cranberries   
       3/4 c  Brown sugar   
       1/2 c  Sugar   
       1/2 c  A-P flour   
         1 ts Cinnamon   
       3/4 c  Chopped walnuts; opt   
              Pastry for a 2 crust 9" pie   
      
     Set oven @ 425ºF/218ºC.   
      
     Combine all ingredients, except pastry, in a medium   
     mixing bowl; mix well. Pour into a pastry-lined pie   
     plate. Cover with top crust. Seal edges and cut several   
     slits in top crust.   
      
     Bake 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cover edges with   
     foil if they begin to brown too quickly.   
      
     Makes 1 9-inch pie.
