         Title: Brown Bread And Honey Pudding

         Yield: 1 Batch   
       
         1    Hard rye or whole wheat   
              - bread loaf   
         1 qt Milk   
         4 md Apples   
         3 tb Skim milk powder   
       1/2 c  Raisins   
       1/2 c  Rolled oats   
         1 tb Cinnamon   
         1 ts Vegetable salt   
         3 tb Honey   
       1/4 c  Sunflower seeds   
       
     Cut bread into chunks and place in flat pan, pouring enough milk over   
     it to cover. Allow to stand until bread becomes soft, adding more   
     milk if necessary. Break Break bread into very small pieces in large   
     mixing bowl and add 3 apples cut in small chunks. Add skim milk   
     powder, rolled oats, raisins, cinnamon, salt, and honey, mixing   
     thoroughly. Peel and cut remaining apple into thin slices and lay   
     half the slices in the bottom of a greased 9x12" cake pan. Pour bread   
     mixture over this plus any remaining milk. Place rest of the apple   
     slices over the top and then sprinkle with sunflower seeds. Bake at   
     375?F for about 1 hour.
