         Title: Muesli Slice

       400 g  Plain flour   
       300 g  Wholegrain oats   
       200 g  Sugar   
         1 tb Ginger powder   
         1 c  Dried coconut   
         2 c  Assorted nuts, seeds,   
              - dried fruit, other spices   
       1/2 c  Crystallised ginger;   
              - chopped (optional)   
       250 g  Butter   
        60 ml Golden syrup; up to 80 ml   
       
     Mix dry ingredients together.   
        
     Melt the butter and mix in the golden syrup. Mix this into the dry   
     ingredients. The mixture should be quite sticky.   
        
     Press mixture into a greased baking tin, to roughly 3/4" thick.   
        
     Bake at 180?C (350?F) for 20 to 30 minutes.
