Add        the onion, cover, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in        the garlic and tomato paste and cook, stirring, until the garlic is        fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the tomatoes, artichokes, wine, and        red pepper flakes. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the olives.        Season to taste with salt and pepper and simmer while you cook the        ziti.                Bring a large pot of salted water to a bol over high heat. Cook the        ziti, stirring occasionally, until al dente. Drain the pasta and pace        in a large, shallow serving bowl. Add the sauce and basil and toss to        combine.
