SD> Definitely. Though I am trying to treat all carbs with the respect I

DD> Unless there's a new and increased tariff put on it.

SD> I don't know, TBH. From what I understand that there are no issues

DD> So, it's still "alive". Just the insulin function has moatly dropped
    DD> out?

SD> Yeah. It's not making insulin 24/7/365 but it is reacting to insulin
SD> at mealtimes. The pump will take over the pancreas' normal function of
SD> constant low-level insulin injection into my bloodstream.

DD> I'm ready for the urchins crying "Trick or TreaT". Picked up a punnet

    SD> HAH!

SD> Sadly no kids around here. Too many sex offenders in this area. :( A
SD> lot of parents either go to the rich neighborhoods or take them to the
SD> big mall for trick-or-treating. I keep my porch light off to just make
SD> sure no strays show up. It's not that I wouldn't like that but kids
SD> shouldn't be out in this neighborhood at night.

Over the Halloween "official" T or T nights we might get a half-dozen at
the door. All escorted by adults. Springfield's "season" is from October
   26 to 31 and 16:30 to 20:00.

DD> 'Cause, hey, they asked for a trick, didn't they?

SD> My friend dips brussel sprouts in chocolate and hands those out to
SD> teens who are a little too old to trick or treat. XD

Where does s/he live? That sounds tasty.

SD> I don't see what's "Halloween" about this recipe but it still looks
    SD> good...
