MSGID: 1:18/200.0 68e6b99e       MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06                Title: Fruit Salad        Categories: Five, Fruits, Citrus        Yield: 5 servings                1 Lime        2 tb Granulated sugar        8 c Bite-size pieces of mixed,        - ripe fruit (such as any        - combination of watermelon,        - pineapple, berries, kiwi,        - stone fruit, mango,        - pomegranate and grapes)                Zest half the lime into a small bowl (about 1 teaspoon        zest). Add the sugar and pinch until the mixture is        fragrant and resembles wet sand.                Add the fruit to a large bowl. Add most of the sugar        (hold back ½ tablespoon or so) and squeeze in 1 teaspoon        lime juice. Stir gently to combine, then let sit for 5        minutes. Stir once more to coat the fruit with the        juices collected in the bottom of the bowl. Taste, and        if the mixture is too sweet, add more lime juice, 1        teaspoon at a time. If you want it sweeter, add the        remaining lime sugar.                Eat right away or let sit for up to 1 hour at room        temperature. The salad can also be refrigerated for up        to 1 day, though some fruits may get mushy.                By: Ali Slagle                Yield: 4 to 6 servings                RECIPE FROM: https://cooking.nytimes.com                Uncle Dirty Dave's Archives               MMMMM              ... 10 pounds of flour makes a big bun!       ___ MultiMail/Win v0.52              --- Maximus/2 3.01        * Origin: Get your COOKING fix here! - bbs.outpostbbs.net:10323 (1:18/200)       SEEN-BY: 18/200 105/81 106/201 128/187 129/14 305 153/7715 154/110       SEEN-BY: 218/700 226/30 227/114 229/110 206 300 307 317 400 426 428       SEEN-BY: 229/452 470 664 700 705 266/512 291/111 292/854 320/219 322/757       SEEN-BY: 342/200 460/58 633/280 712/848 902/26 5020/400 5075/35       PATH: 18/200 229/426           |
