       1/2 c  Yams or other tuber;   
              - cubed 1/2"   
       1/2 c  Raw green plantains   
              - cubed 1/2"   
         3 c  Yogurt   
         1 ts Turmeric   
       1/2 ts Black mustard seeds   
         1 ts Salt   
         1 tb Oil   
         1 tb Jaggery   
         1 c  Water

         1 c  Fresh coconut; grated   
         1 tb Black peppercorns   
         1 ts Cumin seeds   
       
     Grind masala ingredients with an electric grinder and mix with   
     yogurt. Cook vegetables in water with salt and turmeric. Add masala   
     and remove from heat just before mixture starts to boil. Add jaggery.   
     Heat oil in a frying pan and cook mustard seeds until they sputter;   
     add to the curry.
